Sustainability
Sitges belongs to the community of Biosphere destinations and Terramar, aware of the importance of maintaining sustainable tourism development, has joined this initiative and accepted the commitment to continuous improvement in all aspects of sustainability.
We have also incorporated a responsible tourism policy. Check here.

Enviroment
In 2015 we introduced a Master Plan aimed to make the course safer; establish a more reliable and environmentally friendly irrigation source; and increase the difficulty of the course to adapt it to the improvements in playing materials.
Commitment to biodiversity and water.
In 2019 we installed a tertiary treatment plant and connected our irrigation system to the Sitges-Sant Pere de Ribes wastewater treatment plant. Thus, the course is irrigated exclusively with recycled water.
Social
The club wishes to be recognised locally as a socially solidary entity and, to this end, organises charity tournaments in collaboration with Associations in Sitges.

Terramar’s staff strive to encourage and stimulate awareness of Responsible Tourism principles, promote good environmental practices in the area and introduce sustainable actions.
