Genís Alberti wins the Vallromanes Mid Amateur

The member of the Terramar Golf Club, Genís Alberti, has been proclaimed champion of the Mid Amateur Championship held in Vallromanes last week. This is a new success by Genís, which adds to those achieved in his recent career, such as the runner-up position in the Catalunya Mid – Amateur Championship, last June, or those achieved as a couple and team.

The Vallromanes Mid Amateur Championship was held in stoke play mode and as a scoring event for the Catalan Golf Federation circuit. The tournament was attended by 75 players, all of them of a high level and performance.

Genís Alberti scored 143 strokes, which led him to victory. Fourth place also went to a member of the Club, Ernesto Giralt (149 strokes). Other members also achieved good positions: Álex Cierco (13th, with 154 strokes), Philippe Bach (26th, 163) and Alberto Bel (39th, 169). In the women’s category, members Sofía Capo and Mª del Mar Astruells also stood out.
